Here’s some information about the data you can see on this page:

  • Live: the audience who watched the programme at the time of transmission on a TV set.
  • VOSDAL: this is ‘Viewing-On-Same-Day-As-Live’.  The audience who watched a recorded or on-demand programme that has been viewed on the same day as the original broadcast (on a TV set).
  • Time-Shifted: the audience who watched the programme recorded or on-demand between 1 and 7 days post-broadcast (on a TV set).
  • Total Audience: the consolidated viewing audience for the programme. This is the sum of the live, VOSDAL and time-shifted audiences.
  • Share: the percentage of the total available viewing audience who were watching the programme over a given time period.

All numbers are expressed as a share of all commercial broadcaster TV viewing (on a TV set) unless ALL TV is selected, in which case the share is of all broadcaster TV viewing (on a TV set).
