Meet the speakers
Professor Hannah Fry
Mathematician, Author & Broadcaster
Mathematician and broadcaster Hannah Fry is Professor of the Public Understanding of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, the first person to ever hold the title. She is a fellow of Queens' College, Cambridge, and president of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, and was a Professor in the Mathematics of Cities at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at UCL where she studied patterns in human behaviour. As well as her academic work, Hannah is a regular presenter of science and maths programmes and co-hosts the podcast The Rest is Science.
Hannah is known for her joyful ability to bring mathematical ideas to life for audiences of all interests and abilities. Hannah considers the maths of the everyday; how numbers and formulae can explain behaviours, predict events, change lives and reveal the truth behind commonly held myths. She also examines the insights data can provide, as well as where its limitations are.
Karen Martin
CEO, BBH London & Dublin
Karen is one of the industry's most progressive and dynamic leaders. As CEO of BBH, Karen has ensured the agency delivers on its promise to Zag for clients, whilst reshaping the agency and the industry for a diverse new generation. She is renowned for being the most hands-on CEO in the industry, taking an active role in the growth of all of our clients. As President of the IPA, Karen has marked a clear agenda to revitalise the industry by celebrating the immense value that creativity brings to business success, the economy, and culture.
Alex Grieve
Global Chief Creative Officer, BBH
Alex started his career at BBH where he worked for 14 years creating award-winning work for Levi's, Axe, Audi & Barnardo's to name a few. In 2022 he returned to his alma mater as Global & London Chief Creative Officer.
Prior to that, he was CCO at AMV BBDO where for 3 consecutive years he was ranked the No.1 CCO in the UK by WARC. He's also been ranked the No.1 Creative Director in the world at Cannes Lions. Under his leadership AMV won ten Cannes Grand Prixs (including Titanium & Glass), three D&AD Black Pencils and in 2021 achieved an industry first by winning 'The Treble': Global Agency of the Year at Cannes, D&AD and the One Show.
Phil Edgar-Jones
Director of Sky Arts and Head of Entertainment, Sky.
He joined Sky in 2012 as Head of Entertainment where he commissioned for Sky 1, Atlantic and Arts – with shows ranging from Wild Things on Sky 1 to Portrait Artist of the Year on Sky Arts. He took on overall responsibility for Sky Arts in 2014 and since then has commissioned programmes ranging from Brian Johnson’s Tales from the Road to Tate Britain’s Great British Walks; Wagners Ring Cycle from Bayreuth to the world’s first Computer Generated Musical – Beyond the Fence. Sky Arts is also now the home of the South Bank Show and The South Bank Show Awards. The channel has also created a number of partnerships with institutions including the National Theatre, English National Opera, English National Ballet, The Barbican and Sage, Tate Britain, the National Trust and many many more.
Before Sky Jones was Creative Director and Executive Producer on Big Brother throughout its time on Channel 4 and prior to that he was Executive Producer of the Jack Docherty Show, The Priory and Series Editor of the Big Breakfast and Producer/Director of The Word.
Helen Kruger Bratt
Managing Director, Universal Television Alternative Studio UK Productions
Helen Kruger Bratt leads one of the UK's most prolific and respected unscripted production companies, overseeing large scale entertainment, premium reality and live television.
She leads the UK production team behind one of the most ambitious comedy launches in recent years, the first British adaptation of NBC's iconic late night institution, "Saturday Night Live UK", marking the first time the legendary format has been produced for British audiences.
Helen oversees enduring entertainment franchises that have helped shape the UK reality landscape, including "Made in Chelsea", now entering its 32nd season on E4, and "The Real Housewives of Cheshire", which returned for its 19th season on ITV2 this spring and will return for its 20th season later this year.
Paul Rogers
VP Marketing, Go.Compare
Paul has led brand strategy, campaigns, and multi-channel media planning across broadcast, performance, and CRM at Go.Compare since joining in April 2020. Paul has over 30 years of marketing experience, including global campaign roles at British Airways and British Airways Holidays.
Kelly Williams
Managing Director, Commercial, ITV
Kelly joined ITV in 2011 as Group Commercial Director. He was promoted to Managing Director, Commercial and appointed to the Management Board in 2014.
He is the Chair of the Board of Thinkbox, the marketing body for commercial TV in the UK and a member of the BARB Strategy Board, he also sits on the RTL AdAlliance Association Board.
He has responsibility for all commercial advertising deals across the ITV family of channels.
Prior to joining ITV, Kelly was the Sales Director at Channel 5 and prior to that held various positions at UKTV, Sky and Thames Television.
Rak Patel
Chief Commercial Officer, Channel 4
Rak Patel joined Channel 4 in January 2025 as Chief Commercial Officer leading Channel 4 Sales, the commercial arm of Channel 4. Rak has responsibility for driving the organisation's advertising revenue. A key focus of the role is to accelerate the commercial elements of Channel 4's Fast Forward strategy, maximising revenues as it transitions from linear to digital, while pursuing new partnerships and expanding into new areas of digital growth.
Rak most recently was Head of Sales EMEA at Spotify. Here he was responsible for showcasing the value of advertising on Spotify for brands and marketers and the platform's unique proposition in the marketplace. Having been in the advertising industry for close to twenty five years, Rak has spent his career on the commercial side of media and platform businesses. Starting at EMAP, Rak has also spent time at The Financial Times, Microsoft and Auto Trader.
Karin Seymour
Client and Marketing Director, Sky Media
Karin is responsible for three core areas of Sky Media’s commercial department – direct client relationships, Sponsorships and Partnerships, and Marketing. Prior to joining Sky, Karin spent nearly 25 years working for newsbrands, having spent 18 years at News UK, her last role as GM of Client Strategy and Bridge Studio. An experienced media leader, Karin specialises is working at board level with clients, helping partner with them to solve their business challenges through use of both media and creative. A passionate advocate for equality, she committed to creating an inclusive working environment. And as a mum to two small boys, she is highly supportive of working parents, having founded News for Parents, the parents ERG at News UK.
Richard Fuller
Head Of Video Sales Specialists, Amazon Ads
Richard Fuller is a senior media and advertising leader with nearly two decades of experience in video and TV. He started out as a TV Buyer at PHD and has never lost his passion for the craft. Richard spent more than six years helping build WPP's addressable TV solution before running the WPP Media Solutions business. In September 2026, he joined Amazon Ads as Head of the Video Sales Specialist (UK), leading commercial efforts across Prime Video, live sport, brand partnerships, and the exciting Amazon DSP (ADSP) developments.
Lindsey Clay
Chief Executive, Thinkbox
Following a career in advertising at agencies including McCann Erickson and J Walter Thompson, Lindsey's love of telly drew her to Thinkbox, the UK marketing body for commercial TV, where she now leads the brilliant team who make it their mission to help brands get the best out of today's TV.
Lindsey is a passionate and persuasive advocate of the power of TV advertising, the benefits of gender equality and the joy of netball. A regular industry speaker, commentator and awards judge, Lindsey is a former founding President of the Global TV Group, a Fellow of the Marketing Society, an Honorary Fellow of the IPA and a member of the Marketing Group of Great Britain. She is also a member and former President of WACL (Women in Advertising and Communication Leadership), a member of The Women of the Year Alumnae and a Top 50 Women Gamechanger in TV.
Lindsey is a Trustee of The Rank Foundation and until recently Chaired the Rank Fellowship, its School Leadership Award alumni group. She also serves as a non-exec director of its TV production company, CTVC.
When not working, or watching telly with her family, she plays for Weston Park in the North London Netball League.
Elliott Millard
Chief Strategy Officer, Thinkbox
After a career spent mainly at media agencies including Wavemaker, OMD and Starcom, Elliott made the switch to Thinkbox, the UK marketing body for commercial TV, because of deep seated belief in the effectiveness of the platform and a long standing admiration for the work that they do. In the newly created CSO role, he leads the planning and research team with an ambition of helping agencies and advertisers make brilliant decisions to make the most out of TV advertising in all its forms.
Elliott has worked with some of the most celebrated TV advertisers – from retail and FMCG with Procter & Gamble, Heinz and Lidl to giants of entertainment in Disney or Paramount, and tech / start up brands like Samsung, Uber and Airbnb.
He is a regular industry speaker and judge and is (or was) a regular member of Campaign’s Planner of the Year lists and has won awards including Cannes Lions, IPA Effectiveness and the first ever UK Grand Effie.
When not working, Elliott will read anything that comes near him and enjoys a long walk anywhere with water or trees. And he firmly believes that zombies or vampires improve a TV show.
