The Art of Craft series celebrates the artistry behind TV advertising, in collaboration with Thinkbox and the British Arrows, highlighting the exceptional talent that transforms TV advertising from the ordinary into the unforgettable.

Each film explores the work of a Craft Arrows winner, focusing on a specific discipline—whether it’s directing, editing, animation, casting, cinematography, or beyond—and reveals how their expertise brings creative visions to life.

In this film, we speak to Ben Cronin and Sebastian Caldwell who worked on Virgin Media O2’s ‘Walrus Whizzer’.

Ben Cronin, Creative Director at Untold Studios? Ben has over 25 years of experience working alongside acclaimed directors including Jeff Low, Kim Gehrig, Andreas Nilsson, James Rouse, Sam Brown, Tom Kuntz, Traktor, Raine Allen Miller, Noam Murro. and Danny Kleinman.

During his time at Framestore, Ben has worked on Sainsbury’s ‘Mog’s Christmas Calamity’, and M&S’ ‘Paddington & The Christmas Visitor’ and now at Untold Studios he’s been part of the team for Hornbach’s ‘It Seems Impossible Until You Do It’, Avanti’s ‘Feel Good Travel’, John Lewis’ ‘Showtime’, VES winning Frito-Lay’s ‘Flamin’ Hot’, DirecTV "Frank & Bobby" and the Trilogy of multi award winning Virgin Media spots.

Sebastian Caldwell, VFX Supervisor at Untold Studios Recently Seb has supervised some of Untold's highest profile projects including the 2x VES nominated and British Arrow winning Virgin Media 'Walrus Whizzer', the 2025 Superbowl Commercial NerdWallet 'Genius Beluga' and Coors 'Fresh Ride', working with Directors such as Tom Kuntz, Andreas Nilsson and Matthijs van Heijningen along the way.
