A few words about Abigail

Abigail Comber joined British Airways’ marketing department in 2002. Over the following ten years she held positions in marketing communications, advertising and sponsorship, before being made head of Brands and Marketing in January 2012.

In her role, Abigail oversaw various strategic aspects the airline’s global brand and marketing activities, including advertising, sponsorship, brands, design, digital innovation, community relations and relationship marketing.

Lurpak: Kitchen Odyssey

One of Wieden + Kennedy's epic ads for Lurpak, Kitchen Odyssey turns a man making an omelette into an intrepid adventure.

Featuring stunning camera angles, high-impact sound and dramatic edits, the ad dramatises acts like turning on the hob, sprinkling salt and folding eggs.

The creative directors were Dan Norris and Ray Shaughnessy, and the ad was produced by Anna Smith at Stink. It won Best 60-90 Second Cinema Commercial at the 2011 British Arrows.

Maltesers 'Feed Me'

Part of a series of ads looking at 'The lighter side of life', this affectionate Malteaser's ad simply features a man and his girlfriend lying on the sofa and watching Saturday night TV.

After pestering from his girlfriend, the man uses a straw to suck a malteaser out of an open packet next to him and transfer it to his girlfriend’s mouth.

The commercials were written by Trevor Webb, art directed by Steve Campbell and directed by David Hartley of Brave Films.

Sony Bravia 'Balls'

Shot in slow-motion, this famous ad was designed to promote and celebrate 'Colour like to other', to reflect the quality of Bravia, Sony's LCD TV brand.

250,000 coloured rubber balls bounce down a steep San Francisco street, hitting each other and objects as they fall down the hill to the soundtrack of Jose Gonzales’ acoustic cover of Heartbeats.

Written and art directed by Juan Cabral at Fallon, the ad won numerous awards in 2011 including gold at the BTAAs, platinum at the Creative Circle Awards, two D&AD silvers and two film gold Cannes Lions.
