  • Samantha Hicks

Head of Advertiser Strategy, Channel 4

Sam Hicks joined Channel 4 in March 2025 as Head of Advertiser Strategy. She leads the broadcaster’s approach to strategic client relationships and oversees Partner Lab, Channel 4’s creative partnerships unit delivering branded entertainment and sponsorship across TV, streaming, and social platforms. Her work focuses on aligning advertiser goals with Channel 4’s multi-platform capabilities and championing the effectiveness of TV in driving results.

  • Bhavit Chandrani

Director at BE Studio, ITV

Bhav Chandrani is Director of BE Studio, from ITV, heading up sponsorship, AFE (ad funded entertainment), creative partnerships, social branded content and partnerships innovation for ITV's Commercial team.
With over 25 years in the industry, Bhav's passion is in creatively bringing together the worlds of programming and advertising to make meaningful, entertaining campaigns for brands and viewers. Bhav leads ITV's commercial relationship with other media brands such as X, Global Radio and TikTok.

Director of Insight & Measurement, Sky

Matt is the Director of Insight and Research for Sky Media where’s he responsible for their insight and data intelligence proposition covering primary research, audience analysis, CFlight cross-platform campaign reporting, brand effectiveness studies and online outcomes web attribution. Sky Media’s analytical capability is underpinned by their 4 million home viewer panel and their direct customer relationship, providing a high quality, high scale, deterministic data set.

  • Patrick Morrell

Head of Trading, Netflix

Patrick Morrell is the Head of Trading UK at Netflix, where he leads advertising strategy, trading operations, and agency partnerships for the platform’s growing ad-supported offering. With a background spanning Diageo, Channel 4, and The Trade Desk, Patrick brings deep expertise in TV and digital advertising, particularly in connected TV and programmatic trading. He is known for advocating simplicity, transparency, and brand safety in premium streaming environments, helping advertisers bridge the gap between traditional TV and modern digital platforms.

  • Sam Conniff

Author and social scientist

Sam’s career began as a teenager running raves. He enlisted Banksy and Shepard Fairey as designers for what became the Bafta-winning creative agency Don’t Panic. Sam then founded the world-renowned social enterprise Livity, where he won Agency of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Business of the Year, EY Entrepreneur of the year, the Queen's Award, and a commendations from multiple UK Prime Ministers. His best-selling book, Be More Pirate, has become a global movement advocating ‘professional rule breaking and Good Trouble’ as a new approach to positive disruption.
