The IPA Effectiveness Awards

The IPA Effectiveness Awards are recognised by agencies and clients as Adland's most rigorous award scheme because entrants have to prove their communications strategies have worked in hard business terms. Effectiveness and accountability are key priorities of Thinkbox, and the IPA awards are the gold standard in both. These are the awards to win because they get to the heart of what advertising is all about.

The Marketing Society

Thinkbox has sponsored these respected awards since 2008. They celebrate the brilliant uses of TV and recognise the planners and advertisers behind them.

The UK is acknowledged as one of the World's great centres for TV ad creativity but didn’t have a regular forum for judging and celebrating the very best work.

Established by Thinkbox in 2008, The Thinkboxes aim is to inspire audiences and engage them in regular discussion and debate about the nature of great TV ad creativity. 

The British Arrows

The British Arrows recognise and reward the best television and cinema commercials made by British advertising agencies and production companies.

Their showcasing of great TV creativity makes them a natural partner for Thinkbox who have partnered with them for eight continuous years. 

The UK Sponsorship Awards

The The UK Sponsorship Awards are the preeminent awards for the sponsorship industry. They recognise and reward the most creative and effective sponsorships across all sectors of the UK industry. We are proud to support the ‘TV Sponsorship’ category.


Representing over 400 of the top advertisers in the UK, ISBA is the only body solely focused on protecting the interests of the advertiser and their £10 billion spend on marketing communications. They are a critical port of call for members to get expert, impartial knowledge and advice on all media and marketing communication queries.
