Mihir Haria-Shah
Customer and Commercial Leader, Channel 4
Mihir is a Customer and Commercial Leader at Channel 4, driving advertising revenue from independent agencies and new brands while championing diversity through initiatives like Channel 4’s Black in Business.
Joining Channel 4 in January 2023, he brought expertise from roles at AiP, where he built their Broadcast Team, and Total Media as Head of Broadcast. A thought leader on the Future of TV, Mihir has featured on Sky News, BBC World News, and is a winner of Media Week’s Rising Star and a Media 30 under 30 inductee in 2019 . An award-winning professional and Marketing Academy graduate, he mentors for MEFA and Brixton Finishing School, shaping industry diversity efforts.
Kate Waters
Director of Client Strategy and Commercial Marketing, ITV
Kate is a creative strategist by background, having worked at several ad agencies across a wide range of categories and clients, including Financial Services, FMCG, telecoms and public sector. In 2011 she started her own agency, Now Advertising, working with clients including BT, Public Health England, New York Bakery and the Women's Equality Party.
In 2019 she moved to ITV and now has a broad remit, looking after client strategy and planning, measurement innovation and commercial marketing and design. Kate is also the climate action lead for ITV Commercial, working closely with ITV’s central Climate Action team to deliver against the targets and strategy set out in ITV’s Climate Transition Plan. Kate also sits on the strategic advisory board for Purpose Disruptors and chairs the board of education and youth consultancy, Hark. She is an active member and past President of WACL (Women in Advertising and Communications Leadership).
Matthew Godsmark
Head of Product Propositions, Sky Media
Matthew Godsmark leads advertising innovation, develops propositions and go-to-market for new and existing products at Sky Media. Prior to this, he lead a number of commercial, product and strategy roles that span TV and digital media owners and ad tech companies.
Katie Coteman
GVP, Head of Advertising Sales & Partnerships, Warner Bros. Discovery
Katie Coteman, GVP and Head of Advertising and Partnerships at Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland, oversees ad sales across WBD’s diverse D2C and linear brands, including discovery+ and TNT Sports. Since joining in 2011, she has led key initiatives such as launching Quest, TLC, and Quest Red, integrating Scripps (adding Food Network), and introducing Quest OD, Discovery’s first free streaming product.
In 2022, her team launched an ‘Ad-Lite’ offering for discovery+, now the UK’s second-largest ad-supported SVOD service, delivering premium advertising environments. With TNT Sports integrated, her focus is on building WBD Ad Sales as a key partner for agencies and clients.
Sarah Ellis
Co-host of the Squiggly Careers podcast and co-author of The Squiggly Careers
Sarah Ellis is the co-founder of Amazing If, a company with a mission to make careers better for everyone. Together with her business partner Helen, she is the author of two Sunday Times bestselling books The Squiggly Career and You Coach You. Sarah and Helen are also hosts of the podcast Squiggly Careers which has had 4m downloads and their TED talk, The best career isn’t always a straight line, has been watched by almost 2m people.
Prior to Amazing If Sarah’s career included leadership roles at Barclays and Sainsbury’s before becoming Managing Director at creative agency Gravity Road.
Sarah is an alumnus of Harvard, London and Warwick Business Schools (MBA with distinction), a qualified professional coach and a mental health first aider. She is also Co-Chair of the Mayor of London Workspace Advisory Board. Sarah lives in London with her partner and her bug-loving 7-year-old Max.
