The key viewing figures

  • In August, adults watched an average of 1 hour 43 minutes of commercial linear TV each day.
  • Total linear TV set viewing (including BBC) was 2 hours 15 minutes a day.
  • The total weekly reach of linear TV for individuals was 78.7%.
  • In August, ITV launched the new drama Ridley, Channel 4's Grand Designs returned to our screens, Susan Calman’s Grand Week by the Sea returned to Channel 5, and Sky Atlantic launched House of the Dragon.
