Monthly TV Viewing Report: November 2019


The key viewing figures

  • During November, people in the UK watched an average of 2 hours, 11 minutes of commercial linear in-home TV set viewing a day
  • Total linear TV set viewing (including BBC) was 3 hours, 14 minutes a day
  • The total weekly reach of linear TV for individuals remains high at 91.2%
  • England were beaten by South Africa in the 2019 World Cup Rugby Final on 2 November, which peaked at 12.88 million viewers on ITV
  • The festive season kicked off with Christmas ads from some of our favourite brands including online marketplace Etsy, who returned to TV after a 5-year break
