Channel 4 and Open Mike have kept up with tradition and unleashed Alan Carr to hijack the ad breaks during this year’s Channel 4 Comedy Gala, which is now in its fifth year. This year has more Alan Carr than ever before, making it the biggest takeover yet. The brands that fell under Carr’s unique brand of comedy included Mamite, Evian, BT, Specsavers and Snickers.
The ad break hijacking was produced by Open Mike and managed by Alexandra Bird, Group Partnerships Manager at Channel 4 Sales, working with agency partners Manning Gottlieb OMD, Mindshare and ZenithOptimedia.
