Behind the scenes of Sony Bravia's 'Paint'

Turning a drab Glasgow estate into a technicolour wonder awash with gallons of exploding paint ensured this visual treat from Sony Bravia would linger long in the memory. Any film that requires the use of bottle bombs, steel pipes, mortars, and detonators, needs to be planned well in advance. Especially when you only get one take to blow up a tower block in a cascade of colour.

What you discover:

  • 70,000 litres of paint was used
  • The tower block was used as it was  scheduled for demolition soon after filming
