Monthly TV Set Viewing Report: January 2019


The key viewing figures

  • During January people in the UK watched an average of 2 hours, 17 minutes of commercial linear in-home TV set viewing a day, a decrease of 6 minutes compared with last year.
  • Total linear TV set viewing (including BBC) was 3 hours, 23 minutes a day
  • The number of impacts for men has increased 3% compared to 10 years ago.
  • The number of impacts of adults has increased 2.7% compared to 10 years ago.
  • The total weekly reach of TV for individuals remains high at 91.6%.
