About the event

Retailers are under pressure. They face ongoing economic uncertainty and the need to adapt to a world of shifting consumer patterns.

In this highly competitive market, communications have a critical role to play. Retail businesses, both those with a high-street presence and those operating exclusively online, invest strongly in TV advertising because it works, and this free event will explore both why TV works so well for them and how they can get even more out of what today’s TV has to offer.

To help us do this, we’ll get the inside track on some very different retail success stories in the company of those who have been responsible for delivering them, and we’ll be exploring strategies and benchmarks for effective advertising in the retail sector with effectiveness guru Peter Field. We’ll also take a look at some of the very best creative; the quality advertising that drives sales and builds famous retail brands. And if that wasn’t enough, our retail gurus will take a birds-eye view of the sector and share predictions for the year ahead.
