The award

Cube or not cube

So what do you actually win in these awards?  Well aside from fame, glory and the respect of your peers you win a “Thinkbox”.  It’s a beautiful handmade piece of sculpture by the renowned Italian artist, Guido Moretti, entitled “Cube not cube”. Every award is individually produced by him and signed by him.

Guido Moretti’s sculptures are quite extraordinary to behold. When turned or viewed from alternative angles they are transformed from one impossible shape to another; beautiful to look at and great fun to interact with and think about.

Viewed from most angles, it appears to be an intricate series of lines and spaces, which look completely different depending on where you view it from, but when seen from one particular perspective it becomes a perfect cube or box.

So, “a piece of creativity that intrigues and inspires discussion and debate”.  Not a bad symbol for a creative award such as The Thinkboxes.

In addition to receiving their beautiful and enigmatic Thinkbox, the winners are also celebrated within Marketing and on the Brand Republic and Thinkbox websites. Individuals involved also are automatically invited to join the prestigious Thinkbox Academy and are therefore involved in judging all subsequent Thinkbox monthly creative awards.
